The hair is true to length when stretched out. Also it takes to the product well. I suggest you buy a longer length and clip the ends to have fuller ends and better curls. I did a flip over method and put it in an up down style. I received many many compliments! I wet it everyday with a mist spray bottle (water and conditioner mix) the hair does shed but not the worst. That’s to be expected when cutting bundles. Also i didn’t really comb it that much. And i enjoyed the look
